My parents and I were still waiting for the results of our application for visas at the Russian embassy. We really had a hard time accomplishing all the requirements for a russian tourist visa. We were checking out other unique tourist destinations in the internet, like a trip to the north pole. Who would ever think of going there? The usual tourist destinations involve only beach houses and mountainside resorts. The website even provided a history of north pole, such as the animals, people and explorations at the north pole. This was the same site that we got the idea on going on a Russian trip, and have the chance to enjoy their rich history, culture and scenery, also taste their russian food and drinks.
